Our Story
Tarnda is a proud 100% Aboriginal owned and operated business based in Adelaide, founded in 2026 and grounded in a shared passion for cultural education. At the heart of Tarnda is a drive to connect more people to culture, country and community.
Tarnda translates to ‘red kangaroo’ in Kaurna, representing one of our ancestral beings. We chose this name to reflect our deep connection to culture, and our responsibility to share knowledge, stories and traditions with the broader community.
We offer a range of programs, events, workshops and tours designed to connect people with Aboriginal culture in an authentic and interactive way.
Respectful engagement with our local community, giving back, and maintaining authenticity and meaningful work guide the way we operate.
With over twelve years of combined experience in the cultural engagement space, we are passionate about ensuring cultural learning is accessible to all through genuine experiences.
