Young people will have the opportunity to process ochre themselves and create a meaningful artwork to take home.

Connect with Aboriginal culture through a hands-on bush food and storytelling experience. Learn about native ingredients and connection to Country as participants take part in the process of making their own damper from preparation through to cooking, while exploring native flavours and their cultural significance along the way.

Watch and learn how Kaurna people made murlapaka (shield) or yoko (carrying dish) through this on-country experience. Learn about sustainable harvesting, traditional techniques, while watching the process firsthand.
